Lekue brings you the perfect combination for a springform pan: silicone and ceramic. The 100 % non-stick silicone platinum strip fits perfectly around the scratch-resistant ceramic base and makes a no-drip seal. The silicone works in harmony with the ceramic for a consistent, even baking, and no-stick separation when removing the sides of the springform after baking. To use, simply place the silicone strip onto the plate by pressing it into the groove along the rim. Next, attach the two ends of the strip by the flap and insert the pin (included) all the way into the hole to secure the no-drip seal. Then pour in your batter and cook! To remove from the strip from the mould, slowly pull from the pin, release the flap and separate the strip from the plate. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Direction and recipes included.

I've owned many springform pans in the past 22 years, and I am so excited to use this one, after receiving it earlier in the week. Now I have to buy one for my sister, who loves to cook almost as much as I do.
I was surprised to see that it didn't leak, it sealed well and the cleanup was easy. I encourage you to look past the price (which is somewhat higher than regular sprinform pans) and spring for this item. It won't rust, the coating won't "peel off" and the base can be put in the dishwasher without fear of rusting, warping or being scratched. I am so happy to have found this. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius
This is the Springform to get. The silicone seals totally watertight to the base so water baths, custard/liquid fillings are no problem at all. This will beat your metal pans hands down in that department. The ceramic base works great as a serving plate and the silicone unmolds exceptionally easily and doesn't stick a bit. It has handles molded on the edge of the silicone which make it easier to handle than lots of silicone pans are but it's still pretty flexible so if you have a delicate crust that will crack with any movement you need to bake it on something else that's firm, like you would with any other silicone bakeware.
