Glass lids can also be used in a microwave oven, refrigerator, or freezer. Plastic lids can be used in a microwave oven, refrigerator, or freezer; plastic lids are not oven-safe.

We bought this for the in laws to use at the condo because it stacks and is light weight. Our in laws love it and the last time we went to the condo my wife used and she loves it too. They are all fantastic cooks and love the way it performs even at high altitude.

I love this! Really helps my joints. The plastic cover that comes with this set is really hard to remove, though, if you have problems with your finger joints.
