These plates are microwaveable and dishwasher-safe which is great. They fit large portions and they seal well to keep food fresh. I use them when I cook on my days off for the work week ahead. All I have to do is grab a plate, tote it to work and heat it up when lunch time rolls around. I bought a set of these for my mother as well and she loves them. The price and quality are great. The vent is a good idea, although the dividers could perhaps be a little higher. One of the lids arrived with a defective vent, but the seller sent a whole new set of plates promptly.
